We Tailor Your Care Plan
We work with you, your family, physicians and others in your individual healthcare network to create a patient-centered plan of care that achieves your medical, safety and daily living needs in the comfort and convenience of your home.
Harmony Offers Six Distinct In-Home Care Services
If you are not sure what type of services you might need, your Care Coordinator will assist you in determining the differences between the types of in-home care available. You will also receive information on how to begin the process of obtaining the care you need and what might be involved in the process. If you have an idea of the type of in-home care service you may need you can click on the tabs above for a brief description and a path to get you started.
Care coordination involves deliberately organizing patient care activities and sharing information among all of the participants concerned with a patient’s care to achieve safer and more effective care.
Home Care is a non-medical service that is provided to a person that needs assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) in the comfort of their own home. Home Care helps seniors and those who are chronically ill, disabled, or recovering from surgery to be able to maintain their independence. Services include bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication management, companionship, etc.
Home Healthcare is a program that provides medical assistance to patients at home. A broad range of healthcare services can be given at home including post-hospitalization care, continuous home care, rehabilitation therapy, and private care. Home Healthcare is just as effective as care received at a skilled nursing facility or hospital, but it is more comfortable for the patient to be in the comfort of their own home.
Harmony Pediatrics provides highly skilled clinicians for children in Western Pennsylvania who prefer to be at home when medical assistance is required. We work closely with you and your child, as well as family members, physicians and others in your child’s individual healthcare network to create a patient-centered plan of care that achieves medical, safety, emotional and daily living needs in the comfort and convenience of your home.
If you or a loved one has a serious illness, palliative care can help. A complement to the medical treatments your doctor is already providing, palliative care helps manage pain, alleviates symptoms to improve quality of life and offers emotional and spiritual support as you deal with difficult medical issues.
When medical treatments can no longer cure a disease, our interdisciplinary team of hospice care professionals still can do a great deal to control pain, reduce anxiety and offer needed spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families. We introduce gradual, non-crisis transitions from curative care to hospice care. There is time to talk, to try treatments and therapies, and to ensure comfort and dignity.

What Our Customers Have to Say
"I’ve had visiting nurses before, and they never took care of me the way Harmony has. I live with my son, and the nurses even left him detailed notes of the day's visit and progress. I am almost 87 years old and was very comfortable when they were visiting. We are both very appreciative of everything Harmonyhas done for us. I will tell and have told people of the service that Harmony Home Healthcare has given me.”
"I am amazed at the efficiency with which my aide performs her tasks. I am extremely happy with the in-home services I receive!"
"Wow, it is hard to believe that it has already been 12 weeks since we started working together. I deeply appreciate the service your team has provided to me. Gina, Kelly, Patty, Judy and Shane have performed a very professional and awesome job.Irwin, PA
"I wanted to thank you all for genuinely caring for your consumers and your employees. I have never experienced such 'real' compassion in all of my life. Most companies are in it for the money and could care less about their clients and staff; not Harmony! I am so honored to be working for such a considerate, kind, and extremely understanding company such as yours."Indiana, PA
"My mom works at your company, and she loves the job. She also loves the person that she cares for. The person that my mom cares for loves my mom. The reason I am writing to your company is because my mom really likes to work with the person she works with. She also loves to be a caregiver. So I just want to thank you for letting her have the job."
It's always great to hear from you. I have happy thoughts and associations with you. You do your job well. Your first impression is a positive and long lasting one.
“A good friend of mine works for your company and she loves it! You all come highly recommended by her, and I'm so excited for this opportunity! Thank you so much!” – Tara S.
